Why I Love Being a CPA for Entrepreneurs:

The tax laws for individuals have been static since the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) in 2017, and there are not many avenues for tax-saving opportunities, and individuals are limited by their W2. However, the tax laws for entrepreneurs are dynamic and not a one-size-fits-all! There is so much potential to save money if the entrepreneur partners with someone who understands taxes.
I enjoy showing clients the nuance of the tax laws, such as how changing their entity structure or adding another entity can save them thousands in taxes or how changing their fact pattern can help them win in an audit. I love the excitement clients exhibit when they realize I am not only helping them with their taxes and accounting issues, but I am a partner in their business.

Entrepreneurs work way too hard to gain what they have only to end up in the crosshairs of takers that won’t, or don’t want to, work as hard as they do.
I’ve seen too many situations where poor planning has either ended a business or put someone that was passionate about what they did out of business and that should never happen.
It’s important that we preserve the right to pass on what we create to our children, grandchildren, and next generations.
